Activision Publishing, Inc., based in Santa Monica, California, is an American video game publisher.  It includes of multiple subsidiary studios and serves as the publishing arm of its parent corporation, Activision Blizzard.  The company is one of the world’s largest third-party video game publishers, and in 2016, it was the top publisher in the United States.
