South Korean company SK Hynix Inc. makes DRAM (dynamic random-access memory) chips and flash memory chips. After Samsung Electronics, Hynix is the second largest maker of memory chips in the world. It is also the third largest semiconductor company in the world. Hyundai Electronics is a company that was started in 1983 as Hyundai Electronic Industrial Co., Ltd. It is now called Hyundai Electronics, and it has factories in Korea, the United States, China, and Taiwan. Hynix merged with SK Group in 2012, when SK Telecom became its biggest shareholder (the third largest conglomerate in South Korea).
Microsoft, Apple, Asus, Dell, MSI, HP Inc., and Hewlett Packard Enterprise are among the company’s most important clients (formerly Hewlett-Packard). DVD players, cell phones, set-top boxes, personal digital assistants, networking equipment, and hard disk drives are some of the other things that use Hynix memory.
